Basics

I don't want to lose the bit of soul that comes back with backpacking. I don't want to slide directly back into the grind. So - two lists to cover the basics:


Restoratives:

  • Running
  • Hiking
  • Bike riding
  • Music
  • Stories (books, film, good television)
  • Photography
  • Writing

Suckers:

  • Facebook
  • iPhone games
  • TV in excess of 2 hours
  • Procrastination

And now to attempt to avoid the latter, and emphasize the former.
